Dr. Sri Margana (Panel)

Sri Margana is an historian of the Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta, with a special focus on the early modern history of Indonesia. He has also published about the modern cultural and political history of Indonesia and about the Indonesian National Revolution. After receiving his doctorate from Leiden University in 2007, Margana returned to Indonesia as a lecturer in the History Department of Gadjah Mada University.
Dr. Sri Margana will be of the pre-performance panel: Interferences: Live - On Glitches, static, and Sonic Histories. The panel is co-developed in collaboration between Sieve Bonaiuti, meLê yamomo, Leonie Schmidt and Zoë Horsten. It’s supported by Goethe-Institut, ASCA and AYA.
