VENUES
de Brakke Grond
Located in the heart of Amsterdam, De Brakke Grond is a daily hotspot for cutting-edge Flemish art. As a key platform for bold creators and curious audiences, it brings together performing arts, visual arts, talks and music in one vibrant space. During FIBER Festival 2025, it serves as our main venue, hosting a full four-day programme of performances, installations, talks and community gatherings.
Orgelpark
Located in the beautifully restored Parkkerk on Gerard Brandtstraat, just around the corner from Vondelpark, Orgelpark is a one-of-a-kind venue where heritage meets innovation. Traditionally, the organ served the church. Here, that relationship is flipped: the building serves the organ and its music.
With a mission to reimagine the role of the organ in today’s music scene, Orgelpark creates space for boundary-pushing sound experiments, multidisciplinary collaborations, and forward-thinking performances. A place where acoustic legacy merges with electronic exploration – perfectly in tune with the spirit of FIBER.
BIMHUIS
The BIMHUIS on the IJ river is a well-known venue for jazz and improvised music. The venue itself is a modern building designed specifically for hosting performances, with excellent acoustics and a intimate atmosphere.
Updates about the programme in BIMHUIS will follow soon.
Garage Noord
Garage Noord is a former car repair shop turned iconic hub for Amsterdam’s underground nightlife. Known for its intimate atmosphere and adventurous spirit, it’s become a home for boundary-pushing electronic music and hybrid performances.
With a commitment to diverse and inclusive programming, Garage Noord creates a club space where everyone can feel at home. During FIBER Festival 2025, it transforms into one of our key night venues – hosting late-night live sets and DJ performances.
Muziekgebouw
Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ is Amsterdam’s leading venue for contemporary classical and experimental music, located on the IJ waterfront near Central Station. Designed by architects 3XN, it offers a bold architectural backdrop for groundbreaking performances and installations. As home to The Rest is Noise - a monthly series exploring the fringes of sound, pop, and digital culture - it’s a natural partner for our FIBER Festival.
De Sering
De Sering is a vibrant community hub in Amsterdam, where food, culture, and activism meet. Since 2019, it has brought people together with affordable vegan meals, grassroots events, and a welcoming space for collective action. As a venue, it supports experimental formats and forward-thinking initiatives—making it a fitting location for FIBER Festival’s more intimate and interdisciplinary encounters.
Bar San Francisco
San Francisco is a legendary late-night bar in the heart of Amsterdam, known for over 60 years as a home for music lovers and night owls. It’s not a club—and doesn’t try to be one. Instead, it offers a laid-back space where you can dance if you want to, or just grab a drink and catch up with friends. A true meeting point that keeps the city’s dancing bar tradition alive, San Francisco is the perfect spot for after-hours conversations and unexpected musical moments during FIBER Festival.
Goethe-Institut
Goethe-Institut is Germany’s cultural institute, active worldwide in promoting international exchange and artistic collaboration. With a strong presence in Amsterdam, it supports projects that connect global voices through language, art, and dialogue.
