A deep dive into the creation process of a touring live show

In this masterclass, you will get a unique insight into an entire workflow to create a live audiovisual performance, using worldbuilding and CGI techniques and stage/light design. Artist and designer Sevi Iko Dømochevsky - known for his own project Cortical and collaborations with Aho Ssan, Shapednoise, Arca and Grimes - will guide you through the workflow of his latest project Cortical. From initial ideas, inspirations and influences, to the design of the show and how Cortical's vision extends through social media channels and promotional tools.
The master class gives students and professional performers, audiovisual artists and designers the chance to learn from an experienced artist who has participated in international collaborations and is now focusing on building his performance space and music project. There is also the opportunity to bring your own questions and/or work for when you have questions about software development or use.

As this workshop is structured more as a masterclass, you don’t have to bring any tools. Please take your laptop with you, possibly with the programme you normally work with or potentially any project you find interesting to share with our workshop leader and the other participants. At the end of the masterclass there is an opportunity to ask questions and share your work.
