This was FIBER Festival 2025

What an anniversary edition! Thank you for making FIBER Festival 2025 come to life!

Our hearts are full of the experiences of the past four festival days as we celebrated our 10th edition together. We enjoyed every second: thank you for dancing, listening, performing and thinking with us. Thanks to our amazing audience and the more than 60 artists and researchers who joined us in Amsterdam.

From the ethereal vocals of LEYA, the critical inquiries of the Wilding AI Lab, the deep frequencies of Dusty Cabinets to the mutant rhythms of the artists playing at Garage Noord. Over a period of two days, our Context Programme invited us to wander through the many perspectives on our theme of Wildness. Hybrid performances materialised the theme into sonic realms – operating between sound, visuals and self-build instruments – such as the wild, custom-build pipe-organs by Navid Navab and Anouk Kellner, the enchanting soundscapes of Fennesz, and the overstimulating audiovisual worlds of Cortical.

Again, we thank you: visitors, artists, speakers, performers, our dear team and volunteers, for bringing your wildness to this year’s edition. In times when it is often difficult to celebrate, being together provides the space to experience art that represents and fosters other realities. We deeply value coming together to share new ideas and visions.

It truly was a special birthday. If you missed this year’s Festival, or simply can’t get enough, you can visit our Flickr page to relive the highlights. There you will find a full photo recap of all the events that made FIBER Festival 2025 unforgettable.

Hope to see you next year!
