Public Transportation //GTH is a sonic project by Amsterdam-based Mick van Dijk aka cccore and Vanja Rakic. Triggered by one particular Sunday afternoon mixing session where two entered the void and chose to stay, the project is to serve as a vehicle for expanding on a mutual sonic telepathy, directed towards reaching LSD-like induced states of grinding chaos. They melt down 80’s esoteric drone, noise and industrial with repetitive grind of freetekno, ricocheting between the walls of mayhem.

With only two previous occasions of the duo playing for an audience, we are honoured to open the vortex to different dimensions of rave history and the hardcore continuum. This will no doubt be a deep dive into infra-sound and propulsive rhythms on Crackfree's sound system.

About the artist

Vanja Rakić is an Amsterdam-based, Banjaluka-born visual artist, designer, and DJ. From oppressive drones to elements of dubstep, breakcore, and punk electronics; from morphing rhythms to somber lullabies—his sets defy categorization. Nothing is off the table, as long as it supports the underlying motivation — breaking free from stasis. His design work carries the similar edge, with contributions to projects like Sounds of Ogigia, Osarè! Editions, 20/44, Rubber, Mutant Radio, SUBURBIA… He is a regular contributor to Tibilisi’s Mutant Radio with his residency show Naked Gums. He’s played at De School, Garage Noord, Drugstore, 100__ve, SF, Petra Club, De Sering, and more. 

cccore, is a DJ and producer that has been a figure in the Amsterdam scene for a while, due to his extensive experience in the nightlife industry and his deep and multifaceted passion for music. cccore's musical expression revolves around leftfield hypnotic electronics, sonically drawing inspiration from repetitive deep, glitchy, and crunchy grooves that captivate the listener. As a meticulous curator, cccore understands the significance of timing and cohesion in his DJ mixes. He has held a long-term residency at the esteemed underground venue Garage Noord and was previously a resident at the old Red Light Radio & Operator Radio. His performances extend to establishments such as De School, Ankali, RSO, Jasna, Drugstore, Tresor West and Dekmantel's Lente Kabinet Festival.
